It got downright emotional at Reanimated headquarters today when HA and Stuart discussed the last episode of The Ones Who Live. It was gratifying to see the core of The Walking Dead writing/director team and some of the stand-out actors from the franchise deliver six pretty great episodes of television in what feels like a fond farewell from the show we've enjoyed for 13-odd years.

Reality television meets zombies in this episode of Reanimated when our fair hosts get together to discuss the South Korean reality program from summer 2023 called Zombieverse. It's a weird premise but it works surprisingly well, while held together by the interactions of a charming cast and more of the top notch Korean zombie extras and make-up that we've come to know so well from shows like All of Us Are Dead and Kingdom.

This one has been on our list since the earliest days of Reanimated and it was great to visit Havana, albeit in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. Variant finally reintroduces the climby, doorknob-friendly, rock-wielding zombies that the show featured in season one, back before they were having discussions about continuity or "what can our zombies even do?"
